I mean, I don't think anyone with their head screwed on straight expects much of anything good to come from American live action adaptations of anime, but you'd think that after more than 20 years in development hell, they would've put this one to pasture.
Speaking of actual disappointment (not for me personally but for fans of the franchise, I imagine), have you seen the trailer for Alita: Battle Angel? Hoo boy. I thought GitS looked bad. They've not only gone to the bottom of the Uncanney Valley, they're digging to the land of the Mole Men.
Less than 50 hours to #EpisodeVIII. A testament to how the prequels damaged me, I can't seem to be simply excited for the movie. Even though I was quite happy with Episode VII and Rogue One, there's still a part of me expecting disappointment. Prove me wrong, Rian Johnson. I thought Looper was cool.
Well, it was a close-fought battle, but #TeamSigurd fell to the witchy ways of #TeamTharja. It doesn't make any difference to me, but as with pretty much all Voting Gauntlets, the salt flows freely. I get some kind of twisted amusement watching it. Maybe I'm more suited for Team Tharja. ^o^ #FEH
