Bookmarks: Save and Find Individual Messages

Save the message you want to reuse
Bookmarks save individual messages, including your prompt or an assistant reply. They do not replace the full chat history or organize every conversation automatically.
Save the specific prompt or answer
Open the target message’s More actions and choose Bookmark. Look for Message saved, then use Add to Folder or View Bookmarks to organize or return to it.
Find and inspect saved context
Use Bookmarks to search/sort saved messages and filter by folder where offered. View in chat returns to the source conversation. Read the relevant context before reusing an answer; a saved message is not a fact-check stamp.
Folders organize bookmarks separately
A bookmark can be associated with folders. Use the available folder picker, verify the selection and remove only the association when that is your intent. Current bookmark-folder deletion keeps the bookmarks and moves child folders up; it differs from deleting a chat collection.
Unsave and chat deletion are different
Unsaving removes the saved-message marker; the original conversation remains separate. Deleting original content or losing access can affect later context. Do not rely on a bookmark as an independent backup of every attached file or editable artifact.
A bookmarked card and card progress
The saved item is the containing message. Interactive control values have separate owner/device/message scope. The real checklist’s same-browser selection persisted, but that does not establish cross-device checkbox synchronization or completed real-world work.
Account and model use
Sign in to save/manage your own messages. Saving a bookmark is different from another model request. A follow-up still uses the current account/model/tool requirements and applicable credits.

Can I bookmark my own prompt?
The message bookmarking flow supports useful prompts as well as assistant replies. Inspect the intended message and saved confirmation.
Does deleting a bookmark folder delete the original chat?
Bookmark folders organize saved messages; current folder deletion keeps bookmarks. This differs from collection deletion, which includes contained conversations.
Does bookmarking an interactive card sync its checked values?
The bookmark saves the containing message. Control progress has separate device/owner/message scope; do not assume cross-device synchronization.
