Presentations: preview, editing, formats and credits

Start a presentation, work with an editable copy and find the controls for notes, saving, exports and recovery.

Start a presentation in Work

Open Gab AI, choose Work and provide the audience, decision, source notes, slide count and outline. Ask for a finished editable presentation with speaker notes. Follow the task until the presentation file is ready.

Open the returned PowerPoint

Select the presentation output or choose Open on its file card. Move through every slide and compare the figures and text with your source.

Make an editable copy

A PowerPoint can open as a preview first. Choose Edit a copy of this presentation to import a separate editable copy when available. Review the imported text, tables, notes and layout before continuing.

Present and exportPresent and Export controls are available in the web editor. Check the exact format and resulting file before reuse.

Save and reopen your copy

After editing, wait for Saved, close the editor and reopen the copy from Files. Confirm the changed slides and speaker notes. If the copy is missing or a change has not persisted, keep the original and follow the recovery steps below.

Choose PowerPoint or PDF for the next step

Use PowerPoint .pptx for an editable slide file and PDF for fixed pages, using the formats offered by the editor. Choose Export, confirm the file arrives and inspect it before sharing. Check charts, fonts, images and layouts after import or conversion.

Turn notes or a PDF into slides

Paste notes directly or attach a supported source file and wait for processing.

For a presentation from a PDF, ask Work to outline the main points and identify the figures or tables it will use. Check that outline against the PDF before requesting the deck. Specify the audience, slide count and speaker notes, then compare the finished slides with the source. Pay particular attention to scans, diagrams and complex layouts. The Files guide explains supported attachments.

Request and compare a focused revision

Name the slides to change, what should change and what must remain. Ask for a separate revised file. Compare slide count, text, figures, tables and notes, including the slides you asked Work to preserve.

Work access and credits

Work requires Plus. Presentation generation and revisions use applicable model and tool credits. The amount depends on the task, model and tools; slide count alone does not determine the cost.

Find completed task usage

Open Settings → Usage History, filter for the task and expand it to inspect the completed total and individual charges. Compare any estimate with the completed task rather than a change in your overall account balance.

Follow a presentation and revision

The lesson shows the complete workshop brief, original deck and focused revision. Compare its source facts, slides and speaker notes, then use the practice brief for your own task.

Choose source material you can share

Relevant prompts, attachments and enabled context can be sent through Gab AI to the selected model or tool provider. Review the privacy policy before including sensitive material. Use account controls to change personalization; a prompt alone does not change those settings.

If a deck, save or export is incomplete

For an outline-only result, ask Work for the finished presentation file. For incorrect figures, identify the source fact and slide to revise. For import, save or export errors, keep the original, check the error and confirm whether the copy or file is available before retrying. Reopen a saved copy and inspect an exported file before relying on them.

Does signing up unlock Work presentations?

No. Work requires Plus and applicable credits. Check the active account’s plan and usage conditions before starting.

Is a PPTX preview the editable copy?

A raw PowerPoint may preview first. Edit a copy of this presentation imports a separate copy when available. Check it and confirm your edits save.

Can I turn any PDF into a presentation?

Work can use supported PDF attachments as source material. Check the readable text, figures and tables before requesting slides, especially for scans or complex layouts. Review every slide against the source rather than expecting an exact conversion.
